Spectacular fringe-petaled flowers - almost like crepe paper - are carried well above the plants on willowy stems. Colours include shades of white, pink, rose, and red, as well as bicolours. Use in mass plantings or blend with other late-spring, early-summer flowers. Excellent for naturalizing and in English gardens.
*Colour mix is not guaranteed*
DETAILS:
QTY: 100
TYPE: Annual; Self-sowing
SITE: Full sun
DEPTH: Surface; Do not cover
GERMINATION: 14-21 days at 16-18°C
HEIGHT: 2 - 3'
MATURITY: 80 - 90 Days
SPACING: 9 - 12"
How To Grow:
Poppies don't like to be transplanted, so directly sow the seeds in late fall or early spring, after the danger of frost. Gently rake into the soil, and water. Or start seeds indoors weeks before last frost in a compostable pot. The seeds are very small; bottom watering is recommended until plants emerge. Poppies are annuals, but they self-seed, so you can treat them as a perennial.
