A classic French garden heirloom, these vintage carnations offer the sweet and spicy fragrance of clove. Frilly, pure white double blooms (1½–2") with a small percentage of singles add timeless charm to floral arrangements and cottage-style gardens.
Chabaud is an old-fashioned variety dating back to as early as 1904. Best grown as an annual for cut-flower production. A tender perennial in Zones 6–8.
Also known as Annual Carnation, Clove Pink, or Border Carnation.
