Amaranth 'Coral Fountains'

Add graceful drama to your garden with Coral Fountains amaranth. This stunning variety features cascading ropes of soft coral-pink blooms that spill from tall, elegant plants. A striking complement to Green Tails (Emerald Tassels) and Love-Lies-Bleeding (Red Pearls), all of which share similar plant habits, days to maturity, and strong presence in floral arrangements. Grows best in full sun with well-drained soil. Common names include Amaranth and Tassel Flower. For straight stems when drying, hang blooms upside down.

HOW TO GROW:
Transplant - Sow 4-6 weeks before the last frost. Barely cover seed. Bottom water or mist to avoid covering seeds with displaced soil. Harden off by growing at 17-18°C  and transplant outside after last frost.
Direct seed - After last frost, sow thinly, barely covering the seed. When seedlings have first true leaves, thin to 12-15" apart.
