Rubenza cosmos opens in deep cranberry-red and gradually fades to a smoky rose, creating a moody, romantic effect in both the garden and the bouquet. This heat-loving plant thrives in well-drained soil—preferably on the dry side—and attracts bumblebees and other beneficial insects by the dozens. Cosmos are easy to grow, produce a profusion of blooms, and are perfect for beginners. Not frost-tolerant. Deadhead regularly to extend blooming. Also known as Mexican Aster.
