Sweet Pea 'Spencer Ripple Mix'

Spencer Ripple Mix produces strongly fragrant flowers with the classical Spencer shape - ruffled standard petals, with extra long wing petals. Showier than other sweet peas so they make great cut flower. Bicolour flowers with picotee edges set beautiful pastels against a nearly white background. Expect purple, blue, red, and pink blooms. Spencer types perform better in cool weather, and are among the last sweet peas to bloom.

HOW TO GROW:
Transplant (recommended) - Sow 1/4- 1/2" deep into 72-cell flats or preferred deep-cell seedling container, 4-5 weeks before planting out. Darkness is required for germination. Direct seed - 6 weeks before last frost. Seedlings won't be damaged by light frost. Pinch when 6-8" tall to encourage denser branching and more flowers. Trellis support is required.
