Chinese Forget-Me-Not 'Mystery Rose'

Mystery Rose is a soft and romantic variation of Chinese Forget-Me-Not (Cynoglossum amabile), featuring delicate pale pink blooms on tall, upright stems. A beautiful and unexpected alternative to the classic blue form, its gentle colour blends effortlessly into pastel-themed arrangements and cottage-style borders.

The productive, well-branched plants are healthy and long-lasting, yielding multiple flushes of cuttable stems throughout the season. Though it blooms slightly later than its blue counterpart, it more than makes up for it with steady flower production and refined colouring.

Ideal as a filler flower, Mystery Rose adds an airy, ethereal quality to both fresh and dried bouquets. Bees and other pollinators are frequent visitors, making it a lovely pollinator-friendly addition to the garden.

HOW TO GROW:

Transplant (recommended):
Sow indoors 3–4 weeks before last frost. Harden off and transplant outdoors after the danger of frost has passed.

Direct seed:
Sow directly into the garden as soon as the soil can be worked in early spring. Cover seeds lightly. Thin as needed once true leaves appear.

Note: Cut seed heads after flowering to prevent heavy self-seeding, unless naturalizing is desired.
